One long Vicarious delight reading your pages, Chris!

My great great great grandmother was Mary 'Polly' Vickers.
She was born in approximately 1810 in South Carolina.
She died in 1879 in St Clair Co, Missouri.
She married (ca 1830) Robert G[ray] Crockett, nephew of 'Davy' of Alamo fame.
Her daughter Lauretta Ann Crockett was my great great grandmother.
Her other children were James Patterson, Nancy Jane, John C, Mary M, David B and Robert M.

Her forebears have proved difficult to find. Looking for any information on the Vickers of South Carolina of the late 1700's early 1800's.

Thanks for helping.
